A member of the mint family, Forked Blue Curls have fragrant leaves and an upright, bushy structure that reaches 1 to 2 feet tall. The flowers of Forked Blue Curls are purple with hints of white, and they have stamens that curl. On sunny days, these abundant flowers open early in the morning and lose their petals in the afternoon. While open, they are used by native bees. This species of well-drained sites is an annual, completing its life cycle in one year. The prolific seeds help it persists in dry habitat corridors each year. Deer Resistant.
