Indian Grass is a warm season bunching grass. It grows 4-6 feet high and does most of its growing during the warm months of the year. This tall species produces feathery bronze plumes in September to November and blooms later than many grasses. Bumble bee queens have been known to use its stems as a place for a nesting site and also for overwintering. Deer Resistant.
