This goldenrod species differs from others by its white flowers that bloom in vertical wand-like spikes in August to October. Silverrod is a short, non-aggressive goldenrod species that grows around 2 feet tall. It most commonly occurs in dry, acidic sites and is used by a large array of pollinators during its bloom time. This species can grow well on rocky banks, in dry meadow areas, and in open woods with scattered sunlight. Deer Resistant.
