Little Bluestem is a clump-forming grass with blue/green foliage in the summer that turns coppery and golden in fall. It keeps a prominent upright structure through winter and can help to support the other plant species growing around it. As a warm season grass, it does most of its growing during the summer months and produces flowering heads in August to October. Many birds, including juncos and sparrow species, especially love the seeds. Deer Resistant.
