Dwarf Cinquefoil is a low, creeping perennial groundcover that spreads by runners to blanket the ground. Each of its leaves consists of five distinct strawberry-like leaflets. The yellow five-petaled flowers are around a half inch wide and bloom prolifically in spring. These are visited by early flying insects for nectar, including native bees and flies. Dwarf Cinquefoil naturally occurs in well-drained meadows and in the partial shade of dry, open woodlands. Deer Resistant.
