Many yellow daisy-like flowers bloom on the erect stems of Small's Ragwort in springtime. A perennial of sunny, open places, Small's Ragwort has leaves that are longer and more narrow than those of other Ragwort species. A rosette of leaves around the base of the plant remains green through the winter. Many insects use Packera flowers, especially small pollinators like smalls bees and native flies. Deer Resistant.​
