Bowman's Root has a bushy, upright structure and serrated leaves that turn a reddish color in autumn. Its white or pink-tinged flowers have narrow petals and bloom in mid to late spring in an airy formation. This species prefers areas of dappled light and can grow in locations that are very dry with acidic soil. Gillenia species are used mainly by bees. Deer Resistant.
