The five-petaled pink/purple flowers of Wild Geranium are 1 to 1½ inches wide. This spring blooming woodland species has palmate leaves and a clumping form. Wild Geranium is used by various pollinators, including a specialist oligolectic bee: Andrena distans. Oligolectic bees require specific plants to collect pollen and nectar to raise their young. Typically, only one plant family, such as Geraniums, can be used by these bees. Deer Resistant.
