A bushy-structured plant with yellow pea-like flowers, Yellow Wild Indigo grows 2-3 feet tall and has a deep root system. This long-lived perennial helps to fix nitrogen into the soil and prefers dry, well-drained conditions. Yellow Wild Indigo is the host plant for Silver Spotted Skippers, a butterfly that typically has 2 to 3 generations each year throughout its range. Deer Resistant.
