Spread: 6-12 in
Bloom Time: April

Plantain-leaved Pussytoes have white flowers that bloom on a stalk above gray/green leaves. In well-drained soils, this plant spreads by stolons to create a dense mat. This species is a host plant for American Painted Lady butterflies, who lay a single egg on the top of Pussytoe leaves. Later, their small caterpillars make silken nests on the leaves where they feed. Deer Resistant.
